"Dreams" - Police Athletic League's Annual Poetry Jam

On May 29 from 6 PM-7 PM, please join 30 Police Athletic League (PAL) children as they gather to showcase their spoken word pieces to friends, family and PAL staff at PAL’s Annual Poetry Jam.

The young poets created their works at PAL ARTS After School Program, and the anthology of the winners’ work is titled “Dreams”. These young winners had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work with professional poet, Mahogany Browne, who coached them on performing the spoken word.

To celebrate the Police Athletic League’s Centennial on May 29, 2014, the Empire State Building will be lit green and white.
